The Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide Ebook Review - Too Good to Be True?

A former Disney Cast Member created The Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide to help families save money at Walt Disney World. She also wanted to provide you with tips and techniques for maximizing your time and making the most out of your Orlando vacation.

We have all seen these e-books all over the web claiming to have secrets that no one else knows about and promising you the world. I have wasted my money on some of these myself in the past.

However, I was very interested in seeing whether you really could save money at Disney World as she claims. Considering that I live an hour's drive from Disney and have a 2 year old, I figured that I would soon need to know these secrets in the coming years.

With that said, I purchased the e-book and downloaded it from the download page.

As I opened the e-book I will say that my initial response was disappointment because of the length of the book, 140 pages (40 pages of which are readers' comments giving tips and websites, forms, more tips, etc.). Some people may like long e-books but not me.

I like for them to get straight to the point, leaving out all fluff. I also don't like having to read on the computer screen for hours on end.

However, the more that I read the book the more satisfied I became. I came across many tips and ideas in which I was unaware.

POSITIVES

The e-book is very comprehensive giving you information covering saving money on lodging, dining, tickets, and souvenirs.

She even gives you information on nearby hospitals and provides forms to help you keep track of reservations, confirmations and other important information for your trip.

The guide starts off by discussing ways to save money on lodging. This includes staying in one of the Disney resorts, nearby hotels or vacation properties.

Lodging is likely to be one of the biggest expenses of the trip. The author does a good job of explaining your different options for lodging and how to find the best deal.

She even goes into extreme detail providing tables with the different rates according to the different seasons (peak season, off peak season, holiday season, etc.)

One of the strategies that she explains in this section could possibly save you hundreds if you chose one of the more expensive resorts at Disney. It does involve a little work and some risk but seems to be worth the effort.

I could also see how money could be saved using another one of the tips that she provided in the guide. She explains how to find vacation rental property and the pros and cons of staying in a vacation property versus staying in a hotel.

The author then goes into the different ways of saving money on your tickets. Hands down one of the best ways to save money on 1-2 day tickets with Disney is by attending timeshare presentations.

But most people do not want to spend their precious vacation time fighting off high pressure salespeople for 2-3 hours.

The author does a good job of explaining the other ways to save money on tickets. But don't expect to find free or even Disney tickets anywhere without attending a timeshare presentation.

You can save the most using the author's techniques on the multiple day tickets with the added options such as Park Hopper (ability to go to the different Disney parks using one ticket) and No Expiration option.

Although the author does a good job providing a lot of useful information there are some things that I think would make the guide better.

NEGATIVES

I think that the presentation of the information could be improved and that it should be shortened.

I have already expressed my disdain for long e-books.

Maybe it is my short attention span, but I thought that the book was too long and boring in some places.

Also throughout the e-book there are areas of large blocks of text. Separating this large block into paragraphs would have made the information easier to read on the screen and more scannable when reviewing for specific information.

VERDICT

Overall, I would say that the Disney Secrets guide is worth the money. You may be able to find some of the tips on your own by scouring the web for hours on end in forums, signing up for newsletters and other time consuming methods.

You can certainly do so and may find ways to save. However, I would recommend investing in the guide and using it to get a jump start on planning your trip. The guide will unquestionably pay for itself with the information inside.

After all time is money and the kids are all ready to visit the happiest place on earth.

A review of Los Abrigados Resort and Spa in Sedona, Arizona

I'm having trouble with Diamond Resorts International and used it for two weeks at their Ridge Sedona Golf Resort. So I bought a week through Interval International to Los Abrigados for a three-week stay in Sedona. Although this review is from Los Abrigados is difficult not to compare with the crest of Sedona.

When I arrived in Sedona I had the impression that the Los Abrigados resort was a Premier ILX. My sister and I had been there about four yearsbefore and had a great time. Now, four years later, I found that in Los Abrigados had deteriorated ... and now about to be bought by Diamond Hotel location, the owner of Sedona Ridge Golf. I was really glad to hear news of how the quality of the Diamond Resort Properties, where I stayed was excellent.

The bedroom was painted a unit with a terrace, I can see at Red Rocks on the road. I had a great time watching the colors Under the rocks as the sun went down. Natural changes in nature with the sun moved me in a place of wonder and joy.

Two of us slept in one room. My friend fell asleep on the couch. (No one wants a bed to sleep with me more than once. After them, I kick in my sleep.) I was very uncomfortable in the king-size bed. Later I discovered that when I come back next year, select that I probably updated the bedding used by Diamond> Resorts. I had seen only two weeks of comfort in this sector in Sedona Ridge, I can tell you that most welcome to do the upgrade the new owner.

The bathroom was okay. This is not much to recommend? There is a bathroom with shower on hold. The main problem is that the bathroom from the bedroom and someone had to sleep on the couch, going through the bedroom to get there. That was not a problem for me, but it could be for others.

If you're like most fixedThe meals when you go to a place, we know that the limited edition consists of two electric or not. We were with the fine, but it could be a problem if you want to cook a roast ... what we have done well in Sedona Ridge.

Another advantage of Los Abrigados is that the removal of parking in Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. This is one of my favorite places to visit in Sedona. If you enjoy eating a variety of art and business of all kinds, as well as some places, enjoy it, too.

Sandals Bahamas review is a tough one since the resort itself is so large that there are several points to cover. A luxurious resort which picks up its guests in a fancy Rolls Royce, Sandals Royal Bahamian had once been the hideout place for the former King of England. The resort is elegant and sophisticated in all its splendor. The Georgian façade of the resort is noteworthy and the location itself is quite breathtaking since it is surrounded by white beaches and offers an exotic hideaway for those who don't mind splurging.

Accommodation

Just choosing a room at the Sandals resort can be a confusing task since there are so many different categories and beautiful suites to choose from. There is a royal village, intimate villas, one bedroom suites and basic category suites to choose from. The higher category villas and suites have the luxury of their own private butler who will cater to all their needs, though these are also quite expensive. The rooms are all beautifully decorated, even the basic category rooms. The amenities include satellite TV, mini refrigerator, internet connectivity, large spacious bathrooms, bath amenities and several other facilities. The decor of the rooms is Caribbean flavor with elegant furnishings.

Dining out

There are plenty of different options to choose from when it comes to dining in the Sandals resort. There are a total of 9 restaurants, bars and cafes in the resort all catering different types of cuisines. The Baccarat restaurant in the resort is headed by an award winning chef and provides intimate setting for candlelit dinners. Ristorante Casanova serves typical Italian food while the other restaurants serve a variety of other cuisines like Japanese, international, Caribbean and Mediterranean food. There are a few good bars and pubs in the resort which serve a good wine list along with a variety of cocktails. The cafes serve light lunch dishes and appetizers.

Amenities

One of the best things about the Sandals resort is that it provides plenty of good facilities and amenities to the guests. Apart from the beautiful rooms and the number of dining options the resort has an excellent spa which provides plenty of good massages. There are 6 whirlpools and 7 swimming pools in the resort along with misty waterfalls throughout the resort. Nightly entertainment activities like live bands, performances, talent shows etc are organized all through the tourist season. The resort also has a casino and a fitness center. Guests can also choose from plenty of water sport activities that are provided by the resort along with various other sports like tennis, board games, volleyball, billiards and Bocce ball.

The Sandals Bahamas review covered the main facilities and the amenities provided by the resort, although there are still many other amenities that are provided by Sandals. The resort is definitely pricey but for the amount of facilities that it provides, it is definitely worth it.

I am very happy that I got to travel a lot in my year. I can tell you that some of the places I went to absolutely unforgettable. Anyway, I've learned that hotels, resorts, inns and various other things are often not the same as the photos are displayed as good as you or what you are led to believe.

That is why I always expect the worst, but hope the best every time I travel. I also have places in the world, which definitelyforgettable when it comes to accommodations.

I love to travel also to all-inclusive resorts. Finally, anyone with money and be stuck with them always have, how much pay he has to worry what the exchange rate, and if there is something wants to make, affordable, on this day. This is not a worry in the least when it comes to all-inclusive resorts. I have a favorite all-inclusive resort that I always recommend to anyone.

You should never give a chanceto vacation at Beaches Resorts, because they are absolutely wonderful. I have not yet all Beaches resorts, which are disappointing or a waste of my time and money. You can not have money to contribute and to make your travel expenses must be because the Beaches Resorts are all-inclusive. You can have lobster, and all the desserts and snacks, which we hope during Beaches Resorts.

Beaches Resorts all have wonderful facilities for thetheir guests and lots of activities and entertainment to do you. This is ideal if you want to enjoy everything you do. In fact, relaxation and fun, what are these places all about.

I was somewhat hesitant in the first time I ever booked Beaches Resorts vacation. You see, I had a budget in my head, and she wanted me to spend more than that.
