Ontario Ski Resorts
The heart of the downhill ski areas, Ontario is the Blue Mountain ski resort near Collingwood, about two hours north of Toronto. It is north toward Georgian Bay, Lake Huron, so the snow comes early and leaves late - for a long season.

Calabogie Peaks Resort is located farther away, theEast, closer to Ottawa than Toronto. It's about a four to five hours drive from Toronto or one hours drive from Ottawa.
