If you are in Colorado in April, September or October, you can look into buying a season pass for Keystone, Breckenridge and A-Basin.Both Loveland and Copper Mountain sometimes sell season tickets into November. If you plan on skiing 5 or more days pay for a season to one of the areas ski resorts take over and is the cheapest way to go ... even though you will not happen to use it for the entire season.
