Golf Spa Resorts - The Best of Both Worlds

Planning the perfect golf vacation can be difficult, especially if your spouse isn't interested in golf. What is the solution? Apart from leaving the non-golfer at home, the best solution is to book a golf spa resort.

There are many options available; if either of you like tennis, there are many tennis and golf resorts that cater to the golf and tennis fan. If you like lazing on beaches, and who doesn't, you could go to a golf and beach resort.

The best option, for the female non-golfer is a golf spa resort. While you are out enjoying a round of golf, she can be getting pampered at the spa. Of course, after a long day playing golf, it is also nice to come back to the hotel and have a nice soothing massage.

If you are based in the US, there are many destinations to choose from that are close by. On the mainland, popular golf resorts are in Florida, California, Las Vegas, and Colorado. A little further away but still relatively close by, are Hawaii, Mexico, and Jamaica.

Let's take a look at two of the most popular golf spa resort locations; Hawaii and Florida. If you are lucky, you can find a spa resort that has tennis activities and a beach location as well.

Florida Golf and Spa Resorts

Florida boasts dozens and dozens of golf resorts, from Orlando to Key West and everywhere between, you are sure to find what you are looking for.

Just 25 minutes from Jacksonville airport, and situated on Amelia Island, is the Ritz-Carlton. Here you can find the perfect coastal getaway with authentic Southern hospitality, award-winning cuisine and perfect service. The stunning beachfront resort is well-known for its breathtaking views and its feeling of slight seclusion.

The resort is nestled between a PGA championship 18-hole golf course and the Atlantic Ocean. Also, you will find a full service spa, fitness center, 9 tennis courts, fishing, and many other activities.

Away from the beach this time, in Orlando, you will find the Ginn Reunion Resort. Situated on over 2000 acres of private, gated land, you will find accommodation in self appointed villas or private vacation residences. The resorts amenities include not one, but three championship golf courses.

Other amenities are a 5-acre onsite water park, boutique spa, tennis complex, 5 swimming pools, fitness center, 6 tennis courts, and horse riding. The only thing missing is the beach but with a water park and 5 pools, you might not miss it.
