Situated on the Timor Sea, Darwin has a population of 120900, making it by far the largest and most populated city in the sparsely peopled Northern Territory, but the least populous of all Australia's capital cities. It is the smallest and most northerly of the Australian capital cities, and acts as the Top End's regional centre. Over time Darwin has grown from a pioneer outpost and small port into one of Australia's most modern and multicultural cities. Its proximity to Asia makes it an important Australian gateway to countries such as Indonesia and East Timor. The Stuart Highway begins in Darwin, ending at Port Augusta in South Australia. The city itself is built on a low bluff overlooking the harbour. Its suburbs spread out over some area, beginning at Lee Point in the north and stretching to Berrimah in the east past Berrimah, the Stuart Highway goes on to Darwin's satellite city, Palmerston, and its suburbs. Puerto Vallarta is a more lush and semi-tropical destination. You will find a lot of all-inclusive resorts in Puerto Vallarta because the town is very spread out. Be sure to choose a hotel that you can imagine staying at the majority of your vacation because cab rides to downtown are quite pricey. There are clubs and disco-techs downtown but most all-inclusive resorts have their own selection of nightlife entertainment. One of the best hotels in Puerto Vallarta is the Riu. Guests can dine at seven different gourmet restaurants at any time of the day.

Cancun
Cancun is known as the spring break capital of the world. It boasts some of the nicest beaches in the country. Because of it Caribbean location, the sand is white with clear and warm water. Visitors have often described the ocean water like a bathtub. The city has become overly commercialized in the last decade because of all the tourism. You can find anything and everything in Cancun. This is definitely the place you want to be if you are looking for a party. There are bars that organize booze cruises during the night. These are extremely entertaining and affordable. You can find both all-inclusive and traditional resorts in Cancun.
